#2: Photography Schedule for your Wedding Day.

There are a ton of gorgeous locations in Yosemite!  Most couples want to be photographed at as many of them as possible.  The only problem is, they don’t always leave enough travel time to actually get to these locations. Hiring a seasoned wedding photographer, that knows Yosemite, along with its corks, is key to getting all the amazing photos you desire.

Example: If you are getting ready at Yosemite Lodge and would like to take photos at the Ahwahnee Hotel, how long would it take to get there? They are just down the road from each other. It should only take you about 5min. right? Nope!  With Yosemite traffic it can take you at least 15min to get from one to the other, or more, if it is at a standstill.

Just like getting from the Yosemite Lodge to the Yosemite Chapel is always an interesting little trip. Even though they are essentially right next to each other you have to follow one way roads around the park, so usually it will take you 20-30min to get to the Chapel. This is if traffic doesn’t come to a complete stand still because someone is standing in the road looking at deer.
Knowing where your “have to shoot” spots are and making sure you have gone over things with your photographer, is very important.  It will help your wedding day go much more smoothly.
